KMG Engineering summed up the results of the SpeechHUB Project’s second stage

On August 5, 2022, the long-awaited TED Angime event took place with the second stream of the SpeechHUB Project. In April 2022, 16 participants were selected and began training with the Aktan Ibrayev, Project coach, who is also a graduate of the first SpeechHUB stream and the winner of TED Angime 2020.

The participants studied for 12 weeks, out of work time, IMPROVING techniques and methods of successful public speaking through practical exercises. The training program consisted of a block of public speeches, exercises, storytelling and a master class from TV presenter Talgat Bayguzhinov. The final stage of training was to demonstrate the acquired oratorical skills on the big stage.

At TED Angime, 7 finalists gave a 7-minute speech on relevant topics, followed by an ONLINE VOTING among the audience. The speaker whose presentation received the most audience awards was chosen by the audience. The winner, who received the largest number of public votes, was the engineer of the Regional Geology Service Kairat Madiyar. KMG Engineering Management presented all the speakers with training completion certificates and gifts from Samsung, KMG Loyalty program partner. The winner was awarded the main prize – a Samsung smartphone.

We congratulate all the finalists on the completion of the project, wish them success and new victories, and hope that the knowledge gained will bring them great benefits in their careers and other spheres of life. Their hard work and courage to get to the end is something to be proud of and admired! On behalf of the Competence Development Service, we thank the Project coach Aktan Ibrayev for training participants for training participants for several months on his own time, preparing speakers, and assisting with event organization! We also express our great gratitude to all the speakers for being active and the work done on themselves, thank the Q-Club (Yernur Assylbekov) and the English Club (Alisa Kim) for organizing an exciting game during the warm-up at TED Angime, and of course, special thanks to all colleagues who supported the project, thus making a significant contribution to strengthening CORPORATE CULTURE of the company.
