The KMG Engineering scientific journal is included in the list of CQASE

Since April 2023, the KMG Engineering scientific journal has been included in the list of publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Education (CQASE) of the MES RK for the publication of the main results of scientific activity.

Since 2019, KMG Engineering LLP has published the journal in three languages, covering a wide range of issues and problems related to the development of the oil and gas industry, specifically:

  • search for and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits,
  • development and operation of oil and gas fields,
  • mathematical modeling of the geological structure of reservoirs and filtration processes,
  • oil and gas production techniques and technology,
  • preparation of well production,
  • physical and chemical methods of oil augmentation,
  • ecology and economics.

Scientific reviews, research findings, and summaries of new scientific research and advances in practice are eligible for publication on a FREE BASIS.

As of today, there are 13 published issues with 130 articles by 292 authors from Kazakhstan, neighboring countries (Russia, Azerbaijan) China, France, USA.

The journal is published once a quarter and distributed free of charge in 300 copies.

Last year, an online resource www.vestnik-ngo.kz was launched for the convenience of readers, with an integrated system for checking for plagiarism and DOI (Digital Object Identifier) registration, where electronic versions of previously published issues can be found.

The journal’s editorial board consists of 16 people, 9 of whom have a Hirsch index in international indexed databases. Every two years, awards are presented to the best articles in each category.

To date, there are 13 published issues, 130 articles from 292 authors, 51% of which are not affiliated with KMG Engineering LLP and represent Kazakhstan, neighboring countries (Russia, Azerbaijan, China), France, the United States, have been published therein. The number of KMGE publications accounted for 56% of the head office and 22% for each branch.
