Starting from February 1 of this year, in accordance with the decision of the Sole Participant of KMG Engineering, represented by the Management Board of KazMunayGas NC JSC, Malik Salimgereyev, the First Former Deputy General Director for Production of KMGE, has become the Head of the Company.
Malik Zhanabayevich has over 40 years of experience in the domestic Oil and Gas Industry. After graduating from Gubkin Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry majoring in Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields, Malik Salimgereyev started working at Komsomolskneft Oil and Gas Production Directorate as a fifth-grade operator.
Malik Zhanabayevich’s career biography includes years of active work at major national oil companies such as Mangyshlakneft, Karazhanbastermneft, KazNIPIneft, Kazakhoil, and KazMunayGas EP. He also worked at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan and Samruk-Kazyna, where he was in charge of the management of oil and gas assets.
Moreover, Malik Zhanabayevich studied at the postgraduate school of the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan majoring in Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields and received advanced training in the Jartas systems international company on the improvement of integrated management systems in accordance with international ISO standards.
