KMG Engineering was presented at the International Forum in Moscow

KMG Engineering experts (Zh.S. Uzykanov, K.M. Kunzharikova, L.M. Bisikenova, Zh.S. Kanbayeva and B.S. Zholzhan) took part in the XII International Forum “Modern methods of well and reservoir survey to improve the efficiency of oil and gas fields development”, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Well Researchers Club.

The representatives of KMG Engineering were invited by the event organizers to took part in it. The Forum was also attended by more than 100 managers and chief experts of the oil and gas industry from the Federal State-Funded Institution “State Commission for Reserves”, Gazprom Neft PJSC, Zarubezhneft JSC, KMG Engineering LLP, LUKOIL PJSC, MOL Group, NC Rosneft PJSC, Sakhalin Energy LLC, Surgutneftegaz PJSC, Tatneft PJSC, ERIELL Group, SANOAT ENERGETICA GURIHI; research institutes and analytical centers of Federal State-Funded Institution All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Geology, Eurasian Union of Experts in Subsoil in Subsurface Management, RAS Institute of Oil and Gas Problems, RAS Research Center of Nonlinear Wave Mechanics and Technology, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Federal Scientific Research Institute for System Analysis of the RAS; manufacturing and oilfield services companies INGEOSERVICE LLC, DrillGeoRobotics, Sofoil, Coretest service LLC, Neftserviceholding Group of Companies, PANGEA JSC, Ufa Scientific and Technical Center LLC, etc.

More than 35 reports by 52 authors were heard at the Forum on the issues of integrated well and reservoir surveys – GIS, well testing, well logging, petrophysical studies, special analysis of core and formation fluids to improve the efficiency of oil and gas field development; exchange of experience of advanced achievements in the field of well and reservoir survey to obtain additional oil and gas production on- and offshore; analysis of business cases, best practices for improving production efficiency, the value of oil and gas assets, improving the development of oil and gas fields, the quality of decisions made.

KMGE delegates also successfully presented their reports and presentations on the activities of the PVT Competence Center and the results of well testing at MMG fields. The forum members were introduced to developments in the field of information technology, in particular, with the module “Formation fluids”.

All the speakers of KMG Engineering were awarded personal certificates in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Club:

It should be noted that as part of the business program of the International Exhibition “Neftegaz-2023”, the organizers held a session on the topic: “Modern technological solutions for the oil and gas industry and well research. Development of multidisciplinary teams”.

Moreover, the participants had the opportunity to visit the leading laboratory complexes of the scientific and analytical center of the Federal Core Storage of the National Analytical Center of All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Geology in Aprelevka, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, for comprehensive studies of wells and formations, analysis of core and formation fluids, the study and modeling of expulsion mechanisms, oil recovery improvement, hard-to-recover reserves, digital core and microscopy, geomechanics surveys.

Within the framework of the event, representatives of KMG Engineering gained useful experience through participation in the round table “Methodological guidelines for the integration and phasing of geophysical, hydrodynamic and geochemical studies of oil and gas fields: directions for further development” on updating RD 153-39.0-109-01 with leading experts from Russia, Uzbekistan, the Eurasian Union of Experts in Subsoil in Subsurface Management (ESOEN) and representatives of the State Commission for Reserves of the RF. Following the results of a large-scale and heavy program, an agreement was reached to publish all the reports of the Forum participants in the Scientific online media “Current issues of oil and gas” of the RAS Institute of Oil and Gas Problems (http://oilgasjournal.ru/top-pages/contacts.html ), as well as concerning the next meeting scheduled for April 2024 in Moscow.
