“Best Research Paper Among Young Professionals” contest winners were promoted and a salary increase was given to one of them.

We have already reported that among the 20 research papers submitted for the competition last year, four were chosen as the best:

·       Nassen Konysov, Leading Engineer of the Resource Base Development Service of KMG Engineering LLP, “Application of Geological Modeling for Hydrocarbon Traps Forecasting” (Area: Geology, Physical and Chemical Fluids Research):

·      Sultangali Abdykalykov, Senior Engineer of the Field Chemistry Laboratory of Fluid Analysis and Field Chemistry Service, KazNIPImunaigas branch of KMG Engineering LLP, “Improved Assessment of Rheological Properties of Non-Newtonian Fluids” (Development, Production Technique);

·     Pavel Zaitsev, Leading Engineer of the Drilling and Well Repair Design Service of KazNIPImunaigas, a branch of KMG Engineering LLP, “Conducting Horizontal Wells on the Zhetybai Field and Methods of Completion” (Drilling and Development):

·    Kairat Isin, Leading Engineer of the Elemental Cost Estimating Service of KazNIPImunaigas, a branch of KMG Engineering LLP, “Unified Methodology and Unified Time Standards for Research, Design and Surveying and Laboratory Research in Oil Production” (Information Technology, Corporate Management, HR, Finance, Economics, Risks, Law, and others):

– This year, when assessing the effectiveness of the company’s employees at a meeting of the KMGE evaluation commission, there were recommendations to promote P.V. Zaitsev, K.A. Isin, S.Y. Abdykalykov to higher positions, as well as to raise the salary of N.Z. Konysov by one level (due to his promotion in 2021), – reported Zhanna Jakupova, Head of the Human Resources Development Service.


As previously reported, another 10 participants of the competition received Letters of Appreciation on behalf of the Company Management.
