Issues of the rpm (reservoir pressure maintenance) system arrangement in low-permeability triassic fields

On September 8 this year, an international round table on “Issues of the rpm system arrangement in low-permeability triassic fields” will be held online and offline on the basis of Atyrau Branch of KMG Engineering.

Currently, there are more than 30 oil fields in commercial development in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and their reserves are partially or fully concentrated in hard-to-recover reserves of Triassic deposits.

“The Triassic deposits development may involve a number of difficulties: extremely low permeability, large occurrence depths, lithological heterogeneity of the reservoir, uncontained oil-saturated thickness, low phase permeability, and low RPP (reservoir porosity and permeability). Considering all of the above, the RPM system arrangement is one of the urgent tasks of the Triassic deposits development.”

Representatives of mining enterprises, research institutes, universities, scientists, and entrepreneurs who are engaged in relevant problems of low-permeability Triassic deposits development in Kazakhstan and abroad are supposed to take part in the round table.
