International scientific and practical conference “Prospects for the use of chemical methods for enhanced oil recovery (CMEOR) at a late stage of development”

Dear colleagues!

We invite you to participate at the “Prospects for the use of chemical methods for enhanced oil recovery (CMEOR) at a late stage of development” International Scientific and Practical Conference, which will be held on September 16, 2022 on the basis of KMG Engineering (Nur-Sultan).

The main purpose of the conference is to discuss and share experience, jointly identify the possibilities and ways of developing technologies in the application of CMEOR.

It is planned to meet large oil producing and oilfield service companies, developers and manufacturers of specialized chemicals and equipment for CMEOR projects, representatives of research institutes and universities at the event.

We will be glad to see you and your company’s employees as the conference participants, where we could discuss topical issues of CMEOR development.

Conference format: online and offline.

Main issues to be discussed at the conference:

1. Experience in the use of CMEOR at a late stage of field development;
2. Innovative technologies of CMEOR at the late stage of field development.

It is planned to publish a collection of conference materials, as well as some articles, by agreement of the authors, to be posted in the “Newsletter of the Oil&Gas Industry of Kazakhstan” journal.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

To participate in the conference, please register on the website www.kmge.kz until August 15, 2022 and send a scientific article, a short abstract and an application.

For registered participants:

• FREE participation in the plenary and breakout sessions of the conference;
• Receiving official invitations to the conference (upon request of participants);
• Obtaining participant certificates (the request is submitted during online registration for the conference);

REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLES

The articles of the conference participants are published on the basis of peer review and competitive selection.

The participant can submit his article to the conference and submit a full-fledged extended article in the Bulletin of the Oil and Gas Industry.

The texts of the works must be drawn up according to the template.

Recommended structure and requirements for the design of the article:

1. The title of the article (all letters are uppercase, bold, centered; separated by an empty line.).
2. Information about the authors.
3. Abstract (up to 250 words).
4. Keywords (5-7 words or phrases).
5. Introduction.
6. Literary review.
7. The main part (relevance, purpose, research methodology, results and analysis of the data obtained).
8. Conclusions or further prospects of the study.
9. List of literature.
10. The text of the article – font: Arial, size – 12, line spacing –multiplier, size 1.15, formulas must be typed in Microsoft Equation, page parameters – upper and lower 2.0 cm, left -3.0 cm, right – 2.0 cm.

Novelty/additional information	Explain how the proposed article will present novelty or additional information to the existing body of literature that may be useful and/or supplement the level of knowledge in the oil industry. (25-75 words)

The authors are responsible for the scientific content of the materials provided, stylistics, grammar and punctuation.
